The unique nature of the event means that we attract participants from all manner of sports and at all levels of ability. This ranges from those people just starting their fitness journey and taking on a single 35 floor ascent of Broadgate Tower, to ultra runners who will compete in the 12 ascent vertical mile , or in some cases going even further.

We are also honoured to attract some of the world's best elite stair climbers to Broadgate Tower as part of the Vertical World Circuit. A global series of races that puts this event in front of global audiences.
